Including children in household chores gives them hands-on learning through routine tasks while they share the family workload and learn responsibility. But how can we accomplish this in a way that is both effective and safe? COVID-19 has brought cleaning and disinfecting at home into the spotlight. In this seminar, I will share information from King County Hazardous Waste about how to identify – and make your own – safer cleaners and disinfectants. Then, we will discuss realistic expectations and practical tips for enlisting the help of even the youngest family members.
