Join our free, informal book club with Teachers Heidi Hoglan and Jen Schill as we read sections of Your Child’s Point of View: Understanding the Reasons Kids Do Unreasonable Things by Kelsie Olds, also known as the Occuplaytional Therapist.
Kelsie joined SSCCP this past February to deliver a powerful and inspiring talk, “Children Don’t Want Your Power, They Want Their Own.” Her approach, grounded in neuroscience, empathy, and a deep respect for children’s autonomy, beautifully aligns with our co-op values. Like SSCCP, Kelsie believes in meeting children where they are, using connection as the foundation for growth, and supporting both kids and caregivers in a collaborative way.
