Building Sibling Relationships – Part II: Ways to support healthy sibling relationships, especially during periods of forced togetherness

February 25, 2021 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Family life is challenging enough during ordinary times. Kids and adults alike are learning basic skills to get their needs met without attacking others. So right now, in the middle of a pandemic, it’s not surprising that many homes with siblings feel like pressure cookers. If your children are at each other’s throats and you’re at your wit’s end, you’re not alone. Sibling relationships can cause a great deal of family stress but can also be beneficial and rewarding. In this TWO-PART class, we will look at some common mistakes made when trying to help children with sibling struggles, as well as ways to better support healthy sibling relationships especially during periods of forced togetherness. The content will be shared over two classes; participation in both is recommended.
